Amazing stay! Breakfast was hot and interesting! 10/10 do recommend

I had a lot of issues with this hotel. However, the same day I left I got a call in the afternoon from the hotel asking how my stay was. I have stayed in at least 200-300 Choice hotels in my life & this is the first time any hotel has ever called me to ask how my stay was. I told them about the many issues they had & was thanked for the feedback. Also, I told them that they were successful in providing the most important things a customer wants in a stay which is an elevator that works, reliable internet & a good hot breakfast. They did all 3. Because they took the trouble to ask me how my stay was after I left, I'm giving them a 4 star rating instead of the 2 star rating I was going to give them.

No privacy: window curtain so ripped & disintegrated that it couldn’t close. Pillowcase had shoe-print on it. Chair upholstery was nasty. Turned on the heating but smell was unbearable (dirty filter). Bed tilted with head down & foot up. Dirty walls. The TV worked fine.

Great place, indoor pool (kids thought pool was great), clean, comfortable, no hwy noise, great pillows. why min 200 characters? This site is for other userd, not staff at tripadvisor. u want my opinion or not??

The bed was good. The room was nice. However, we needed to to leave a day early on our three day stay. We notified the front desk on the first day. They were very friendly said OK. But when we checked out after two nights, we noticed that we were billed for three nights. When speaking with the franchise owner, he refused a refund saying that shortening a stay could only be done prior to check in. We’ve never experienced this before and were not told while we were staying there. This is very disappointing and not good customer service. Each franchise owner has discretion on whether to give a refund and in all other choice hotels we’ve stayed at, the franchise owner has been very willing to update the reservation. I am posting this really to let others know that the ability to change your reservation, once you’re checked in, is completely up to the franchise owner, and even if the front desk is very friendly and cooperative, to assume that you will be charged for the full reservation, unless you have it in writing. This owner was in their legal right, but we don’t see this as a good customer service.

We got into town super late Friday night and the hotel front desk worker was already waiting for us and had us pre-checked in. We just needed a place to sleep on our way to Fl and this place was great! Would definitely stay here again. Room was nice, beds were comfortable and breakfast was good overall. Served it’s purpose for us, don’t let the other reviews scare you out of staying here, no complaints from us at all.

My husband accidentally booked this hotel and they wouldn’t give him our money back. We get to the hotel and the front desk clerk tell us that their system went down so we will not have hotel keys for our stay. So that means that one of us will have to stay in the room to unlock it for the other or the staff will have to walk us back up to our room every time. My husband again asks for a refund after hearing all of this and they still would not issue a refund. We get to the room (which needs some major updating) and I can see that the flood is dirty with crumbs and dust bunnies on the carpet. The sheets were DISGUSTING!!!! There were crumbs, hair and some black stuff which we had no idea what it was on there. There’s no way those sheets were washed in between guests. It looks as if housekeeping just made the beds after the last guests and just made things look “neat” because let me tell you there was no cleaning going on. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here. EVER. I won’t be able to sleep tonight cause this room is so filthy.

Filthy hotel. Will not stay here again. The bathroom was gross, mildew all in the tub, hair in the floor. The walls above the bed had an abundant amount of dust. Sheets were barely clean. One bed was missing a mattress cover. Carpets weren’t vacuumed well. Smelled musty.

We arrived at 8:40pm at night. The entire front of the hotel was dark. Even CHOICE on front was not lit up. I tripped and fell in the parking lot and injured my knee. Checked in and got to our room, it was unclean. There was stick liquid on the computer bench and the floor was sticky. Instead of giving us another room, the lady at the desk sort of wiped it up but not completely. Then we discovered all the electrical outlets didn't work so I couldn't use my laptop. She spent 20 minutes making it 'look' like she was trying to give me a refund but never did. We left and will never use a choice hotel again. I was a Choice Gold member for 15 years
